About Me
Purple is the common denominator in Drew’s background of helping people, not just as his favorite color but in validating the red ‘feels’ we carry and stimulating the blue of thought provoking ideas and mixing it all together . Andrew “Drew” Gibbons has been in the caring professions for over 15 years, holding roles that include ordained pastor, behavior coach, teacher, foster parent, school counselor, and now a therapy provider. Purple was there all along.

Drew will never push his beliefs on you, but you will end up feeling his belief in and for you. Integrating the gospel is available for those wanting their faith values affirmed in treatment.

Drew is a lover of learning (it’s one of his core values) and invests with his time and money approximately 3x the amount of required training each year. His client’s directly benefit from this 🙂

Frequently Asked Questions
Plenty of ways to sit back and talk in therapy. Purple couch optional.

Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or simply wanting to understand yourself better. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come to counseling during periods of transition, stress, or when something just doesn’t feel quite right.
If you’re unsure, a free consultation is a good way to explore whether therapy, and working together ~ feels like a good fit.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any questions or concerns you may have. I’ll also explain how I work and what therapy with me typically looks like.
There’s no pressure to share everything at once ~ we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute consultation by secure video. This is a brief, no-obligation conversation where you can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and decide whether my approach feels like a good fit for you.
If we decide to move forward, we’ll talk about next steps for scheduling.
Yes! I work with insurance through Alma and headway. Coverage and benefits can vary depending on your specific plan, so Alma and headway helps verify eligibility and handle billing.
If you have questions about coverage, I’m happy to help guide you through the process or refer you to Alma’s and Headway’s support resources.
Yes. Confidentiality is a core part of therapy. What you share in sessions is kept private, with a few legal and ethical exceptions (such as concerns about safety). I’ll review confidentiality and its limits clearly during our first session so you know exactly what to expect.
